- LEARNING CHECK – FOR FRIDAY – Questions: Where are you from? Where is your house? Words for Japan, China and Korea. Practice by writing over and over gradually not using your chart! Here’s a quizlet (Sensei sometimes puts the bonus on the Quizlet)
- On a separate sheet of paper you will be handing in 9 sentences. This includes 7 pieces of information about you…in full sentences. Fill in the blanks with your information = remember for “I/me” you can use either わたし or ぼく
- はじめまして (“I’m meeting you for the first time”)

- where from わたし・ぼくは______から きました。(For Korea, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong use hiragana for the country. For others use the ‘english’ word
- where live うちは コッキトラムです。コッキトラム=Coquitlam or ポートコッキトラム for Port Coquitlam.
- family nationality かぞくは ___人です。 Follow the same rule for the country as number 5. If you are like me – and your family is from several different countries then use と to join. かぞくは かんこく人と たいわん人です。
