Missed Class – Here is a summary of what we did – and you are expected to have done this too (You got your unit book today in class unit but a copy is on the Directions page – under Japanese 11 resources)

Review of places that we know on the map already (map page 72): bank, bookstore, park, school, house, coffee shop,department store, station, hotel, stores that take the name of the product and add や (eg にくや、すしや)

Vocabulary page 11 – we did this – matching/labeling and practiced  – vocab on page 4/5 to help you - board notes including answers nonki story direction 4 per

Then we read the story on page 15 about Nonki’s neighbourhood – powerpoint with audio here

Review of location words and how to say (page 24/25 – notes on page 23 and quizlet link here) – homework page 25 – 1-8 only ぎんこうは えきの前に あります。

 

DUE TUESDAY AT THE LATEST (we won’t have in-class time on Monday) Hand in your paragraphs (2) on what school you’d like to go to (or not) and why…you have used what you know to tell me what schools appeal (and how they relate to you).
